The Work You'll Do:

As a Regulatory Education Director, you will leverage your deep insurance expertise to create impactful learning experiences for our clients. In this role, you’ll contribute to content development, deliver continuing education courses, and collaborate closely with internal teams to enhance customer relationships and ensure a positive, customer-focused experience.

This role requires a dynamic, organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple projects with precision and care. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and exhibit a high level of ownership over processes and outcomes. A passion for continuous learning and a curiosity to explore innovative educational solutions are key to excelling in this position.

More specifically, you will:

  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Deliver continuing education courses both in-person and via webinar, as required.
  • Design and develop new training content, with a focus on insurance accountants, service providers, and related audiences.
  • Regularly review and update course materials to ensure alignment with industry trends and regulatory changes.
  • Address client inquiries on statutory accounting, GAAP accounting, and other technical accounting topics.
  • Ensure consistent storage, organization, and management of the content library.
  • Collaborate with instructors to modularize existing content for various delivery formats (live, web, self-study) and durations.
  • Partner with Education Service Coordinators to facilitate private education opportunities.
  • Maintain a working understanding of the applications and tools used to deliver content.
  • Assume instructor responsibilities as needed, with the potential to expand this role over time.

What We Need From You

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years in the (re)insurance industry.: Exceptional ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize effectively.
  • Demonstrated accuracy, thoroughness, and commitment to high-quality results.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to initiate and follow through on projects.
  • Strong knowledge of the MS Office suite, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test due to federal contract requirements.
  • Expertise in health statutory and GAAP accounting and financial reporting.
  • Strongly preferred experience in:
  • Investments
  • Reinsurance and ACA risk-sharing programs
  • Medicare, Medicaid, and related programs
  • Uninsured programs
  • Candidates who advance beyond the initial interview will be required to prepare and deliver a short technical presentation as part of the evaluation process.
  • Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check and drug test upon hire
