The Work You'll Do:

At Sovos, we’re transforming how companies around the world manage tax compliance—helping half of the Fortune 500 and thousands more stay ahead in a complex, ever-changing global landscape. As a Strategic Account Executive, you’ll play a critical role in solving a real business need (not just a “nice to have”) by delivering solutions that enable compliance across borders and industries.

We’re looking for professionals with ERP experience who understand how to tie compliance into broader digital transformation goals. If you've sold into financial, operations, or IT teams and know your way around platforms like SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics, you’re well positioned to show prospects how Sovos can fit seamlessly into their enterprise systems.

This is your opportunity to be a consultative partner to high-value clients while representing a category-leading brand.

More specifically, you will:

  • Own and drive the full sales cycle—from prospecting through close and beyond.
  • Lead with strategy: develop and execute account-based plans to drive growth and retention.
  • Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with executive and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Deliver consistent, profitable revenue growth while exceeding new business targets.
  • Stay current on ERP ecosystem trends and how Sovos solutions integrate and add value
  • Build and manage a balanced pipeline across assigned territory.
  • Use a combination of strategic thinking, data insights, and storytelling to showcase the value of Sovos solutions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to align on customer needs and long-term success.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and reporting to support business decisions.

What We Need From You

  • 10+ years of success selling SaaS or enterprise software to large, multinational companies.
  • Strong track record of hitting or exceeding revenue quotas and managing complex sales cycles.
  • Background in ERP software sales, with familiarity in one or more major platforms.
  • Experience presenting and selling to executive decision-makers, including the C-suite.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into compelling business cases.
  • Energized by working across teams and navigating matrixed environments.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for client meetings, events, and team collaboration.
  • Proven expertise in prospecting, closing, and growing enterprise accounts.
  • A data-driven approach to customer outcomes and value realization.
  • High comfort level with digital sales tools and platforms.
  • Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check and drug test upon hire
