The Work You'll Do:

The Business Applications Administrator II is responsible for providing quality and professional system support to Sovos employees by maintaining and implementing solutions in Salesforce and other integrated applications. This role will work as part of the Business Applications team. This individual will work closely with various departments including sales, customer support, finance, and technology to execute new improvements, features, functionalities, and processes within the company. An ideal candidate would be comfortable translating business needs into actionable solutions.

What are my responsibilities going to be, more specifically?

· Support a global deployment of multiple internal applications with 1500+ users spanning across multiple functional areas (sales, customer support, product development, etc.).

· Work with business users and other team members to gather requirements for enhancements and translate the business needs into technical design.

· Develop new and maintain existing functionality within internal applications including custom objects, custom fields, formulas, workflows, page layouts, validation rules, assignment rules, and analytics, roles, profiles, security. Perform routine Salesforce administrator tasks.

· Support Salesforce CPQ, customizations, and a product catalog of 3000+ active SKUs.

· Develop, test, document, and maintain solutions, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation.

· Document and communicate all changes made to the system for reference.

· Work within sandbox environments and follow a release schedule, to maintain system integrity.

· Utilizes ticket tracking system to document results of problem resolution sessions.

· Demonstrates a high degree of self-awareness and commitment to personal development and learning.

· Work with cross-functional teams to recommend and deliver technological solutions aligned with business requirements.

· Contribute to the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to delivery.

· Interact effectively with teammates, colleagues, and customers.

· Comprehend and communicate complex concepts.

· Concentrate, analyze, and resolve complex problems.

· Support Salesforce Community to ensure customer access.

· Support tools integrated with the Salesforce platform such as NetSuite, Marketo, CloudCoach, DocuSign, Gainsight, and more.

What We Need From You:

· Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator

· Nice to have: Salesforce Certified CPQ Administrator

· 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce administrator.

· 1+ years of experience as a Salesforce developer.

· Experience building, customizing, and maintaining digital experience sites.

· Strong verbal and written communications, adept at explaining complex technical concepts and sharing your knowledge with diverse audiences.

· Nice to have: A programming background using one or more of the languages such as APEX, Visualforce, Javascript, Typescript, Python etc.

· Experience with NetSuite, Marketo, CloudCoach, DocuSign a plus.

· Experience with CI/CD tools a plus.

· Some off-hour responsibilities
