Cvent India is looking for a smart person to help execute marketing campaigns. As a part of Global Demand Center, based out of Gurgaon, India, you will have access to best in class marketing tech stack and marketers. Work with the largest event management software company in the world to help capture, re-engage, and develop qualified prospects for Cvent’s multiple sales divisions. This is a fast-paced, timeline-driven, and demanding role that requires a self-starter with excellent motivation and attention to detail.

This position will work with the Marketing and Sales teams to design and build demand generation campaigns including but not limited to marketing event build and assist in high-level campaign metrics reporting for distribution to the Marketing and Sales divisions. Your success relies on your ability to run the execution function efficiently and getting marketing campaigns out the door smoothly.

As part of the Global Demand Center team, you will have exposure to all sides of the business and a wide array of marketing and sales systems. While your primary role on the GDC will be focused on running the email execution function in an optimized way.


Position Duties

  • Establish and monitor best practices for email content, design, and deliverability
  • Recommend ideas and implement new strategies to build engagement based on email performance data
  • Create and manage email guidelines around compliance and best practices
  • Design and define business processes that drive continuous optimization
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure that email marketing campaigns are implemented effectively and efficiently
  • Develop reports and dashboards to drive efficient open and click-thru rates, and measurable lift in customer engagement, retention, and profitability
  • Should possess strong behavioral traits like – Teamwork, leadership skill technical know-how... Conflict Resolutions  , manage the work-life balance in the team ,Time & Stress Management.
  • Maintain a strong QA function within Email marketing team and ensure all process documents are timely updated are being followed & referred on a day to day basis
  • Working closely with the Marketing GDC teams to prioritize & manage campaigns that drive demand generation using Cvent and Marketo
  • Creating and building marketing campaigns that drive sales leads and increase prospect & client engagement (worked on any CRM tool/ email marketing tool)
  • Liaise with the Planning team to develop and execute the marketing roadmap across all products
  • Drawing up email campaign reporting to benchmark and measure success
  • Create enhanced reports to support Product marketing teams to measure the performance of high impact marketing campaigns
  • Training & onboarding new resources


Qualifying Requirements

  • Experiential knowledge of working on marketing automation tools like Marketo.
  • 5-7 years’ experience of execution & managing marketing campaigns in a B2B environment. The person should be operationally strong.
  • Strong knowledge about Email marketing function
  • Should possess working knowledge of HTML with demonstrated experience designing emails and landing pages, should also be hands-on with list segmentation and upload process
  • Fair understanding of Marketing automation and demand generation concepts and ability to implement the same using a Marketing Automation software
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences
  • Bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials, technical degree preferred
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and execute in a methodical and disciplined manner
  • Exceptional written communication. This role requires an ability to understand and articulate both the business benefits (value proposition) and technical advantages of Cvent products and solutions
  • Zealous attention to detail
