Assistant Team Lead - Customer Data Analytics

About the Role

We are in search of a Data Analyst to create and maintain high-quality customized reports for internal and external clients. A successful candidate will have strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases, as well as report design for the elegant display of information. A Data Analyst must have excellent customer relationship management skills, and effectively present information & respond to questions from managers, customers, and their colleagues. They also must have the ability to write reports and business correspondence in a clear concise manner, including technical documentation when needed. The Data Analysts outputs will be used by Cvent’s Client Success Leadership team, to help them manage their business efficiently. We are looking for a go-getter with a genuine ability to derive actionable insights from multiple data sources, love for mathematics and statistics, willingness to learn and grow.

What You Will Be Doing 

  • Understand business objectives and converting them to data/reporting requirements
  • Perform data discovery to identify right data sources
  • Identify, document and recommend process improvement opportunities through holistic analysis and use of statistical data
  • Implement Tableau dashboards, scorecards, and reports to enhance understanding and usability for the Client Success team
  • Provide recommendations on improving performance for teams based on data analysis
  • Systemically identify data integrity issues, discover issues with data accuracy and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Work with leadership team to prioritize business and information needs plus drive reporting automation
  • Share Quarterly Churn Analysis for client accounts
  • Deliver reports, interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reportso MBO performance reports for Mid-Year and Annual reviews
  • Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews reports with deep dive trend analysis
  • Account Transition Reporting
  • Ad Hoc as reports as needed
  • Drive and manage reporting analysis and integration into tableau reports

What You Will Need for this Position 

  • 5+ years data analysis
  • Strong Data Analytics background
  • Experience with Tableau data visualization required
  • Knowledge of SQL & SSRS will be an added advantage
  • Experience using Salesforce Reporting
  • MS Excel knowledge (Pivot tables, analytical functions, macros) & Powerpoint
  • Presentation skills & experience creating PowerPoint slide decks
  • Data analysis skills, familiarity with analytical techniques
  • Understanding of process documentation principles
  • Proven communication & writing skills: be able to tell the story behind the data
  • Diligence and attention to details
  • Willing to work in US east
