Job Description

Auto House Truck Repair in Galva, Kansas is seeking a skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our service team.  If you have a passion for working on diesel engines and are looking for a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

An ideal candidate will have previous experience, be self-motivated, & will be required to own their own tools.  They will also have previous experience with air lines/brakes, hydraulics, diesel engines & electrical diagnostics.

Key Responsibilities:

Repair & maintenance of service trucks, semi and trailers

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel engines and related vehicle systems.

Conduct inspections to identify necessary repairs and preventive maintenance.

Ensure all services are completed efficiently and meet quality standards.

Keep detailed records of services performed and parts used.

Work collaboratively with team members ot provide excellent customer service.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

 

Qualifications: 

Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or in a related role.

Strong knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems.

Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment.

High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

ADE certification or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
