Prep Cook / Kitchen Assistant (Part-Time)

McPherson Country Club is looking for a dependable Prep Cook/Kitchen Assistant to join our team. This position supports the kitchen by preparing ingredients, assisting with food preparation, and helping maintain a clean and organized kitchen. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a team environment and takes pride in quality food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for service (chopping, slicing, portioning, etc.)

• Assist with basic food preparation and plating

• Maintain a clean and organized prep area

• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

• Assist the cook with additional kitchen tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Kitchen or food prep experience preferred but not required

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight

Schedule

• Evenings, weekends, and occasional club events
