As the Software Engineer, you will... 

  • Refine or finalize hardware and software designs for systems, subsystems, and components to document the product baseline for production or resolve deficiencies discovered during manufacture or end-use. 

  • Provide system software testing and analysis of software-based weapon systems to include fire control software. 

  • Perform software code review or analysis, such as static or dynamic code analysis in support of design engineering, and perform software testing of guided munition weapon fire control software such as IV&V. 

What you bring to the table... 

  • A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline. 

  • Six (6) years professional technical experience which includes at least four (4) years specialized experience performing computer hardware engineering, software design, coding and compilation of code; computer or software requirements management, computer systems or software integration; and utilizing systems engineering software tools.  

  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance at the SECRET level

  • Experience related to weapons systems and/or Navy programs and HTML, C/C++, Python, MATLAB, SolidWorks, Unix, and Linux is desired. 

  • Demonstrated ability to engineer complex systems with integrated software and hardware solutions.  

Bonus Points for... 

  • Experience working with Hypersonic Weapons

  • Possessing a current SECRET Clearance
