JRC is actively searching for an experienced security professional to serve as an Assistant Special Security Officer (ASSO) Analyst II. This role provides direct support Navy programs and requires a high level of security clearance. The ASSO will serve as the Special Security Representative for all aspects of Sensitive Compartment Information (SCI) security, with responsibility for planning, coordinating, developing and implementing the effective accomplishment of the SCI security and intelligence programs for those activities and agencies who receive SCI support from the Special Security Office.
As the Assistant Special Security Officer (ASSO), you will:

Provide security oversight and guidance to TS/SCI and NATO programs

Develop, advise, and maintain SCI policies and procedures

Oversee and provide recommendations during the construction or modification of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) per ICD-705 Standards

Conduct random and self-inspections

Maintain visitor control databases and process visitor clearances

Prepare, submit, and track SCI nominations

Work in a classified environment at the TS/SCI level
What you bring to the table:

Minimum 4 years of security experience, with 1 year directly related to special security programs

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of formal education and professional training

An active DoD Top Secret security clearance and eligibility for favorable access to sensitive compartmented information (SCl)

Excellent communication and writing skills
