It's a great time to join JRC! We are looking for a talented Senior Engineer to join our amazing Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) team in Cape Canaveral, FL. As the Senior Engineer, you will provide technical expertise in research, development, and testing of missile/rocket guidance systems for the US Navy Fleet Ballistic Missile program, working closely with program management leaders and technical subject matter experts.
As the Senior Engineer, you will...
- Provide technical expertise in missile/rocket guidance systems
- Advise customers on design improvements over previous systems
- Perform requirements analysis and assessment of detailed designs
- Advise customers on test planning (component level to system level testing)
- Conduct trade studies and analysis of alternatives
- Coordinate with program stakeholders, including other customer contractors/partners
- Develop and review documentation and supporting material for technical accuracy
What you bring to the table...
- A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution or equivalent years of experience
- 10+ years of experience supporting the Navy's Fleet Ballistic Missile program
- Ability to analyze processes and implement improvement strategies
- Experience as a technical liaison between corporate, representative contractors, and the DOD senior staff
- Must have a government security clearance at the SECRET level or above, or recently held a clearance and remain in favorable status
- Excellent computer or technology skills
- High-quality communication and presentation dexterity
- Ability to support required travel (up to 40%)
