We are actively recruiting multiple highly motivated an experienced Data Manager to join our amazing team in Huntsville Alabama. In this critical role, you will be the primary point of contact for data management related to the critical DoD Navy and Missile Defense Agency Programs.
The Data Manager will establish and maintain databases of technical data and engineering program documentation. Additionally, you will coordinate with Configuration Managers to develop processes and workflows to ensure data integrity, pedigree, and accessibility throughout the change management process. You will lead the planning of data migration and integration projects while supporting program teams with data-related needs. You will participate in IPT and OIPT meetings and serve as an advisor to the Aegis Adaptations Product Manager.
πΌAs a Data Manager with JRC, you will...
- Serve as the primary point of contact for data management for various Navy and Missile Defense Agency Programs
- Manage data storage solutions (e.g., databases, file servers, cloud storage) and control access to data based on security classifications and user roles.
- Provide technical support to program teams on data management tools, processes, and best practices.
- Plan and execute data migration and integration projects, ensuring data accuracy and minimal disruption to program operations.
- Collaborate with engineers, program managers, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data is available and accessible when needed.
- Align database workflows with configuration management processes to track changes to technical data, including drawings, specifications, and software.
- Participate in all Configuration Management, IPT and OIPT meetings.
- Provide data governance and modernization strategies to DOD customers
- Develop strategies to incorporate AI/ML technologies into DOD programs
π§ What You Bring
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline)
- 5+ years of experience in data management.
- An active DoD Security Clearance at the SECRET level
- A strong understanding of Data Management requirements, experience with configuration management principles, and proficiency in using data management tools and databases.
- A familiarization with Statistics and Trend Analysis, Computer Programing and AI/ML
- Familiar with Dashboard Visualization Tools and experience with modernizing Visualization tools

- Prior experience with Supply Chain Analytics.
- Technical experience in fleet operations, systems engineering, missile systems, or Navy Logistics.
