Job Description

The Industrial Maintenance Milwright/Technician performs general upkeep and repairs to all machines and plant equipment.

  • Performs assigned/scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery.
  • Responds to and corrects equipment stoppage and mechanical breakdown.
  • Welding: MIG/TIG, Stick, Cutting Torch.
  • Troubleshoots, repairs and replaces defective parts.
  • Installs, starts and tests all new manufacturing and plant equipment/systems.
  • Performs building and grounds maintenance and repairs.
  • Assists in manufacturing process problem solving.
  • Operates machine shop equipment.
  • Practices and complies with all safety and quality procedures.
  • Communicates with the Supply Attendant when materials are needed to maintain, repair and improve equipment efficiency.
  • Maintains clean work environment
Skills & Requirements
  • Previous maintenance experience specifically in an environment utilizing machining, PLC controls and robotics.
  • Experience troubleshooting electronic issues with machinery.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong mechanical background and aptitude.
