The Role:

As a member of our guest services/reservations team, your role will be critically important in ensuring a positive and enjoyable guest experience at every step of the selling process. Our sales team is responsible for providing knowledgeable and friendly service. A successful member of our sales team will understand and appreciate the opportunity to provide exceptional guest experiences and work hard to consistently exceed customer, managerial and colleagues expectations.  There a several levels of Sales Associates and you will learn more about the opportunity to advance during our interview process. Job duties include but are not limited to: Apply expertise in customer service toward the pre-sale and real time sales booking of lodging, lift tickets, private and group lessons, rentals, season passes, group functions, schools, and all other related products.

• Preferred, but not required: 1-3 years sales/reservation/customer service experience (hospitality or travel industry a plus)
• Excellent technical and problem solving skills related to computer issues
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to provide quality customer service on all calls
• Motivated by personal performance, self-starter and quick learner
• Ability to communicate and listen in a professional and patient manner.
• Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Flexibility of scheduling to work evenings until 9pm and weekends required. Schedule remains subject to change on a permanent or temporary basis should business needs require.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to problem solve and trouble shoot
• Strong knowledge of Bear Valley and the greater Hwy 4 Corridor a plus!
• Flexibility and willingness to help other departments as needed
• Strong computer reservation skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, website navigation and performance of key word searches, ability to distinguish colors in reservations computer system.
