Position Overview:
The Substitute Teaching Assistant (Sub TA) provides support to the classroom teacher in maintaining an effective learning environment during the regular TA’s absence or in the event the regular TA is subbing for the homeroom teacher. The Sub TA assists with instructional activities, manages classroom behavior, and ensures the safety and well-being of students.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the classroom teacher with daily instructional activities and lesson implementation.

Supervise and engage students in various learning activities.

Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.

Follow lesson plans and provide support to students as needed.

Communicate effectively with students, teachers, staff, and administration.

Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during classroom activities.

Reporting child safeguarding and any significant behavioral concerns to the divisional Assistant Principal or Principal.

Complete supervision slots during break time.
Qualifications:

Located in Beijing

College or University degree; college coursework in education preferred.

Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is a plus.

Strong communication in English and interpersonal skills.

Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and student needs.
Working Conditions:

This position may require flexibility in working with various age groups and subject matters.

Sub TAs may work in a variety of classroom settings across different grades.
