JOB GOAL/PURPOSE:

The Fitness Center Assistant will support the operations of the school's fitness center, promoting a healthy lifestyle among students, staffs, and community members. This position is ideal for individuals with a sports background and an interest in sports club management, focusing on fostering a positive and active school environment.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with the management of fitness center operations.
Provide guidance and support to students and all school members using fitness equipment and facilities.
Provide excellent customer service to all school members.
Facilitate and organize fitness programs, activities, and events for all school members.
Collaborate with physical education staff to integrate fitness into school programs?
Support marketing efforts for fitness programs and events.
Assist with student wellness initiatives and health education.
Monitor equipment use and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Ensure cleanliness and safety of the fitness center and all equipment.

Skills & Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Sports,physical education or related field (preferred).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the fitness or sports industry.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of fitness trends and club management practices.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.

Desired Skills:

Leadership qualities and ability to motivate others.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience in customer service or hospitality.
