MHP application and background check required

Purpose: 

Provides operational support for Mental Health Partners’ (MHP) software, hardware, cloud and telephone systems. Under minimal supervision, responsible for maintenance, operation, planning and purchase of network servers, data storage services, network operating systems, operational software systems, enterprise imaging, email systems, data backup and recovery systems, and data access security. 

Job Summary: 

Responsible for maintenance, operation and planning of all enterprise technical systems. responsible for the maintenance, operation, planning and purchase of desktop software, hardware, phones and other technologies required for MHP staff to adequately perform their day to day job responsibilities. 

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for administration of MHP IT systems, including but not limited to, servers, switches, routers, firewalls, VPN concentrators, and the interconnectivity of those systems.
  • Provides input and/or direct responsibility for functional and technical design of enterprise systems, while taking into consideration capacity planning, disaster recovery and business continuity.
  • Oversees the testing, implementation, maintenance, documentation and development of operation and maintenance procedures.
  • Executes enterprise system design (functional and technical), planning, and implementation.
  • Acts independently to troubleshoot complex problems immediately to avoid costly down time and service outages.
  • Schedules system maintenance and down-time as needed to minimize disruption of service during business hours.
  • Maintains network and infrastructure systems documentation.
  • Ensures that systems are in place, and accurately followed, to protect the security of data and system access
  • Ensures end-users have access appropriate to their need and authorized use
  • Continually assess the need for software and hardware upgrades and oversee the implementation thereof.
  • Ensure all licensing requirements are met and adequately maintained.
  • Travel throughout the organization to ensure infrastructure stability.
  • Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform other essential functions of the job
  • Meets defined individual and department goals, activity metrics and Key Performance Indicators
  • Promotes, supports and demonstrates MHP’s mission, vision and values through both behavior and job performance and adheres to policies, procedures, Compliance Plan and Standards of Conduct on a day to day basis
  • Effectively interacts and communicates with other MHP staff/clients/customers/partners/etc.
  • Regular and consistent attendance is required to perform other essential functions of the job
  • Other duties as assigned

     

Skills & Requirements

Education/Experience/License/Certification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent years of experience can be substituted for education
  • At least 5-7 years of systems administration experience
  • Hands-on experience with MS Active Directory, Server 2012, 2008, MS Exchange 2013 Hybrid, and Office 365 administration required
  • Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls and Mimecast Gateway
  • Understanding of Avaya and Cisco ASA, routing and switching
  • VMWare or Citrix experience preferred
  • Experience with ShoreTel and Voice Over IP preferred
  • Certification (MCSE, MCP) preferred

Working Environment

  • General office environment
  • Must be able to work in a shared office space with frequent interruptions
  • May include working with people in acute distress or crisis
  • May require travel to several MHP sites throughout Boulder and Broomfield counties to attend meetings
