Job Description

“When you join our team, you will be able to engage your trauma therapy background in a different and genuine program. Here you will be able to develop your trauma skills and engage your passion in a supportive, learning environment " Densie, Hiring Manager

The Intensive Trauma & Anxiety Services therapist is responsible for providing a higher level of care to clients than what a traditional outpatient clinic can offer. The team sees clients who have a history of traumatic experiences and present with PTSD and/or anxiety-related disorders that interfere with the client’s functioning. Unresolved trauma and untreated anxiety can lead to physical health issues, instability, and substance use. Developing coping skills for anxiety and PTSD and addressing and processing traumatic experiences continues to be essential in serving our communities and clients. The position not only serves the Dixon location, but is part of a centralized program serving all MHP clients. The Intensive Trauma & Anxiety Services team and its services are unique to MHP.
