Job Description
  • We are seeking an enthusiastic and empathetic Care Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support and guidance to a diverse clientele facing complex mental health, substance use, and environmental challenges.

    • Do you have your Bachelor in Psychology, Social Work or Counseling and looking to get more experience working in mental health settings?
    • Are you passionate about helping clients focus on health and wellness treatment goals and services work with a vulnerable client population?
    • Do you want to develop some case management skills and counseling skills?
    • Do you have experience working with adults and children in an outpatient clinical setting?
    • Are you experienced in providing traditional case management services, supportive counseling, facilitating treatment groups?
    • Are you familiar with insurance programs like Medicaid and Medicare?
    • Is building relationships with clients easy for you?

You will report to the Program Manager.

Notice $20.35- $25.44 Skills & Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or a related field OR one-year experience in the behavioral health field for non-related Bachelor's degrees
  • Bilingual Spanish
  • Experience working with adults in an outpatient setting, interest in working with adults with mental illness and substance use issues
  • Experience with clinical modalities: Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), other Cognitive Behavior Therapies (CBT)
  • Collaborative and client centered orientation
  • Manage a caseload of clients and their diverse needs
  • Collaborative team member who is ready to jump in, support our clients and team
  • Community outreach experience and interest, occasional ability to transport clients to connect to care
  • Familiarity with insurance programs like Medicare and Medicaid
