As our Justice Services Assessment Specialist, you will provide initial assessments for our Justice Services team for clients transitioning back into the community. You will work on a multidisciplinary team and liaise with community partners in order to streamline access to services at Clinica Family Health and Wellness.
Job Summary:
You will conduct initial assessments and serve as an expert to our team. You will report to the Program Manager.
Profile:
- Are you experienced in conducting initial comprehensive assessments of clients?
- Do you thrive in working with clients in the criminal justice system with moderate to high mental health and substance abuse service needs?
- Have you provided brief, episodic psychotherapy, addressing mental health issues and substance use disorders (SUD)?
- Do you have experience providing training to staff and community partners?

What we need for this job:
- Masters in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field, plus 1+ year internship, and one (1) or more years experience in a clinical setting
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or full licensed acquired within twenty four (24) months (Licensure Preferred).
- Experience with adult mental health and substance use population
