POSITION SUMMARY:

The engineering technician will work under the direction of management and/or engineering staff as determined by senior management. This role will work on a variety of engineering tasks, such as prototype testing, equipment trouble shooting, data collection, data processing, tooling fixtures, etc., depending on skills and experience.

ESSENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Recognize any unsafe conditions and take action to correct while reporting to supervisor, lead, or other management representative immediately

·         Use precision measuring instruments

·         Design and build manufacturing equipment

·         Performs other duties as assigned

IDEAL EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and able to demonstrate solid experience with the following:

·         Mechanical Engineering

·         Design/Build Equipment

COMPETENCIES:

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         High school diploma and 2 or more years’ experience as a technician in MIM industry or equivalent experience as determined by management

·         An associate’s degree or similar certificate in a complimentary trade preferred

·         Knowledge of various machinery, tools, materials and equipment necessary to perform job duties

·         Possess excellent computer/PC skills (including word & excel knowledge)

·         Acute attention to detail

·         Commitment to excellence and high standards

·         Work effectively as a team member and independently

·         Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

·         Detail oriented in regard to workmanship & maintaining the efficiency
