Parmatech is a leading metal injection molding company in Petaluma, CA, pushing the boundaries of precision manufacturing. We’re looking for a Project Engineer to lead New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts—bringing innovative, high-performance components to life across medical, defense, aerospace, and general industrial markets.


What You’ll Do

  • Own and drive new product launches from concept through production
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, tooling, quality, and production teams
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for customers during development
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution
  • Evaluate designs for manufacturability (DFM) and optimize for MIM processes
  • Lead risk assessments, process validations, and continuous improvement efforts
  • Translate engineering requirements into actionable manufacturing plans

Skills & Requirements

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, or related field)
  • 3–7+ years of experience in project engineering, NPI, or manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of metal injection molding, powder metallurgy, or precision manufacturing (preferred)
  • Experience supporting regulated or high-reliability industries (medical, defense, aerospace) is a plus
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills—you can bridge the gap between customers and the shop floor
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with attention to detail

 

Salary Range (Placement in the range will be driven by proven experience)

Annual Pay: $95,000 - $115,000
