Job Description

Omnitracs, a leading provider of fleet management, logistics, mobility and telematics solutions, is looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to serve as Senior Product Manager. Applicants should have a strong understanding of the enterprise software space, particularly in the areas of logistics, routing and scheduling, and fleet management. Applicants should also have excellent communication and management skills and have experience in the specific competencies necessary to effectively manage mission-critical, enterprise SaaS products.

The Senior Product Manager will define innovative solutions and approaches that strengthen Omnitracs position as market leader. The Senior Product Manager have responsibility for managing the core dispatching application central to Omnitracs fleet management product suite. The Senior Product Manager works to develop the strategic product plan, product requirements, and go to market strategies.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Product Manager owns the Vision, Strategy, Roadmap and Product Backlog.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Own the Product Vision, Strategy, Roadmap, and Product Backlog
  • Ensure cross-funcation alignment with strategy
  • Own requirements, specifications, and release plans for assigned products
  • Serve as voice of the customer for assigned scrum teams
  • Prioritize product development and feature enhancements
  • Understand and incorporate customer and market insights into roadmap
  • Deliver business cases to support product investments and expansions

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • EDUCATION:BS/BA in business, engineering, or a related field
  • EXPERIENCE:3-5 years’ direct product management experience

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Understanding of supply chain software solutions
  • Strong product management competency
  • Experience with routing, scheduling and dispatching systems is highly desirable
  • Business and financial acumen to direct and provide business and market oriented guidance aroundelements of the products (relative priorities andneeds, performance requirement, cost/price andtiming targets, etc.)
  • Go/to expert for features and product
  • Brainstorms constructively with others
  • Leads effective brainstorming with others
  • Structures strategic conversations - with no help
  • Drives Product strategy
