As a rapidly growing company, we rely heavily on FP&A to drive business intelligence and outcomes. FP&A plays a key role in coordinating, rolling-up, and balancing initiatives across the company; to provide leadership with data-driven decision support.

The Revenue Manager, FP&A will take responsibility for leading company-wide revenue planning, forecasting & analytics. The individual will manage a small team of analysts in assuring accurate driver-based revenue models, reporting, and insightful analysis. In addition, the Revenue Manager will support various cross-functional projects from new product business cases to revenue cycle system and process initiatives (e.g. Salesforce, KPIs, customer analysis, etc.). The individual will work regularly across the Accounting team on projects like ASC606 and staying aligned with internal Billing and AR practices.

The successful individual in this role will be ready to roll-up their sleeves and equally delegate work to achieve high quality results for Omnitracs partnering closely within the FP&A team. Experience in a technology/software company in a revenue analysis role required.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Serve as the finance lead to effectively partner with all parts of the business to develop and improve the accuracy of driver-based revenue plans and forecasts, identify risks and opportunities, and communicate performance against those business plans and budgets in a timely and accurate manner
  • Lead the design and build of reporting processes to deliver high quality business insight and supporting commentaries
  • Manage, lead and develop a team of financial analysts effectively, ensuring the team produces accurate, timely and relevant analyses in a consistent manner
  • Define, develop and utilize key metrics/KPIs to deliver insights into trends/variances to plan/forecast
  • Develop a knowledgeable revenue analysis team who uses their curiosity and modeling skills to support new and existing revenue opportunities
  • Ability to produce timely and insightful ad hoc analysis, including but not limited to product P&Ls, deal/contract analysis, and multi-year strategic project business cases and forecasts  
  • Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders in functions and teams across the business

     

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in analytical field such as Finance, Economics or Math required; MBA, MSF or other advanced degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of management experience in direct supervisory roles and/or in leading successful cross-functional initiatives
  • Knowledge of revenue practices in Software / Hardware (i.e. ASC606, Multi-Element Adjustments)
  • Extensive financial modeling experience
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with ability to understand the "big picture" yet preserve a keen eye for details
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and produce consistent positive results in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Hands on approach to training, problem-solving, and digging into challenges
  • Strong quantitative skills with ability to take complex factors and create concise decision-supporting analyses
  • Strong relationship building skills with ability to engage business leaders as a finance partner
  • Proven and invested experience in helping fellow team members career development through clear expectation setting, coaching and direct involvement in achieving positive professional development experiences
