Position Description:

This Senior Network Engineer position is part of the network engineering team (Global) that is responsible for design, administration, and support for our infrastructure operations.  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Primary responsibility will be to work as a member of a network team bringing connectivity to data center, remote offices and clients
  • Strong experience with Cisco firewall and VPN, and routing and switching is a requirement
  • Experience of Pulse VPN, Palo Alto Firewall, and F5 load balance solution is a plus
  • Coordinate, communicate, and connect with remote peers as required
  • Collaborate on designs, and implement key company network systems for global needs
  • Work with Project Managers to develop project plans and document and execute plans in a timely manner
  • Ensures systems are properly documented, controlled for change, and monitored for uptime and performance
  • Identify, develop, implement, and maintain high level industry standard and the best practices
  • Works with vendors and others to formulate designs and solutions
  • Collaborate with other team members on technologies, concepts and standards
  • Identify, interact, and provide high level of service with internal and external customer ensuring needs are being met
  • Cross train peers and other IT teams as required to support new designs
  • Some travel will be required for the project in multiple locations
  • Ability to work on an on-call basis or overtime when required
Skills & Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in related field or additional compensatory experience
  • Strong experience with Cisco Nexus Switches
  • 5 years experience supporting routers, layer 2 and layer 3 switches, and firewalls
  • 5 years experience in fast-paced multi-vendor heterogeneous environments
  • 4 years experience managing Internet and Wide Area Networks
  • 4 years experience with network systems management and monitoring tools
  • 4 years experience with VPN’s and other remote access applications
  • Experience working in large projects with multiple IT teams and clients
  • Experience with DNS, LDAP, NTP, Radius, GSLB, domains and various IP based applications
  • Experience with both Linux and Windows server environments a plus
  • Exposure to global network design and management desirable
  • Basic understanding SDWAN solution
  • Basic understanding of AWS network and operations
