OTG Kitchen Manager

The Kitchen Manager is responsible for all kitchen operations, including but not limited to, food procurement, preparation, production and service as well as the maintenance of quality standards, safety, sanitation and cleanliness.

 

Responsibilities of the Ktichen Manager:

  • Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the OTG concept’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
  • Maintain proper daily inventory levels and conduct inventory assessments
  • Order food and ensure delivery  in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain and control food cost targets in accordance to budget
  • Ensure all food production areas are maintained at the highest level of cleanliness and safety
  • Train and manage the kitchen team
  • Oversee the training of kitchen personnel in safe operation of all kitchen equipment
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Requirements
Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree – or – equivalent experience.
  • Degree in Culinary Arts, a plus
  • A minimum of 5 years hands-on management experience as Chef/Kitchen Manager/Kitchen Lead in a corporate kitchen environment, preferably working both BOH and FOH
  • Exemplary product knowledge, skill and presentation
  • Creative and innovative within brand protocols
  • Knowledge of and commitment to food sanitation and kitchen safety
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to hire, train and supervise kitchen crewmembers
  • Ability to work as part of the restaurant, crew and management team
  • Ability to work flexible shifts/schedule
  • Commitment to OTG protocols, food excellence, and leadership
  • Possess strong organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Work well in fast-paced setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Consistent role model for the rest of the crew
  • Ability to clear background check for airport badge
