Amerlux, a pioneer in the lighting industry for over 35 years, is seeking Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Oakland, NJ. As a Maintnenace Assistant, you will be responsible for the day to day repairs as directed by the Facilities Maintenance Manager.
Job Responsibilities Include:

Assist with maintaining equipment, tools and general upkeep of the manufacturing and office areas.

Assist with troubleshooting issues and performing minor repairs as required.

Assist with annual, semi-annual and quarterly service updates to all plant equipment.

Work with the Safety Committee to ensure any critical items are addressed immediately.

Other duties as deemed appropriate by management.
Skills & Experiences:
-
1-2 years facility maintenance.
-
Basic plumbing, electric or general construction skills.
