We are currently looking for a Disability Navigator to join our team at CareerLink Suburban Station.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Welcome Career Link customers with disabilities
• Demonstrates the job match function to both the customer and/or their coach.
• Suggests job search workshops and facilitates the customer registration.
• Coordinates scheduling of the Career Link customer with a disability with the WIOA workforce advisor.
• Acts as liaison between the Career Link customer with a disability and the WIOA workforce advisor.
• Responsible for accompanying customers to WIOA advisor on the same day of enrollment.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with partner agencies that support people with disabilities
• Maintains knowledge about resources to support people with disabilities such as employment, housing, healthcare, and education
• Acts as liaison between the CareerLink® customer with a disability and the WIOA workforce advisor, and OVR counselor
• Knowledge regarding the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR), the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP), and the Office of Long-term Living (OLTL) preferred

• Bachelors, plus 1 year of experience or 5 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in Microsoft applications
• Proven excellence in verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to learn multiple computer applications
• Experience with disability population and kowledge of employment issues related to people with disabilities
• Must have working knowledge of Career Link enrollment process, WIOA and job match system.
