Job Description

The full-time faculty member handles implementing all aspects of a full-time faculty position including face-to-face teaching, office hours that support students, prepping for all learning environments, student evaluations, implementing the systematic evaluation plan, and serving on committees as assigned.

 

 

Summary of Major Duties/Responsibilities

  • Develop and install lesson plans to meet the course learning outcomes and competencies.

  • Engage in active learning in the classroom and nursing skills laboratory.

  • Tutor students as needed especially those earning 80% or lower on a classroom exam.

  • Oversee part-time faculty when co-teaching a course.

  • Engage on ongoing continuing education related to teaching responsibilities and clinical nursing practice.

Skills & Requirements
    • Current registration as a professional nurse in Pennsylvania.

    • Bachelor's in nursing

    • 2+ years experience in nursing practice.

    The base pay for this positionis $44/hour ($80,000 annual).  Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
