Overview: Processes a variety of transactions related to warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, issuing parts to jobs, physically moving parts, and inventory counts.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to:
- Receive incoming materials, supplies and equipment
- Unload trucks, inspect material for damage or defects, uncrate and assemble materials if needed
- Prepare crates and other items to be shipped
- Process basic shipping / receiving / inventory transactions in computer system
- With training, operate material handling equipment including hand truck, pallet jack, forklift, delivery vehicle, etc.
- Deliver materials to appropriate departments and obtain required signatures
- Demonstrate skills required to obtain forklift operator certification
- Maintain good housekeeping in assigned area
- Comply with all applicable safety, environmental, and PPE policies and procedures
- Read, write and speak English
Knowledge:
- General knowledge of inventory processes including storing, receiving, packaging, preserving, issuing, shipping, or transferring, and inventory control
Minimum Education and Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License and good driving record
Minimum Experience:
- Typically less than 2 years related experience
Leadership:
- No leadership responsibilities

- Regularly required to lift, move and carry up to 50 pounds and to push and pull up to 110 pounds
- Occasionally required to stoop, twist, kneel, and squat
- Occasionally required to climb, stairs and slanted ladders and carry up to 40 pounds with one hand
