We are looking for Principal Data Scientist to lead the architecture, design and implementation of a next-generation API security solution using machine learning and artificial intelligence. We are building a Ping Intelligent Identity Platform and you will be part of "PingIntelligence for API" team at IDC, India, part of the global team that is defining the future of Intelligent Identity and API security powered by AI/ML. You would play an end-to-end technology leader role in the creation of API Security solutions, collaborating globally with other technical leaders and architects.
You Will:
- Lead the design and implementation of the API security solutions using AI/ML while working with cross functional teams and product managers.
- Oversee the team's technical strategy and the technology roadmap
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring team members
- Partner with product managers and engineering leaders in the group to align with objectives, priorities, and goals.
- Contribute to the PingIdentity vision of creating centralised Intelligent Identity platform in Cloud using PingOne
- Research capabilities to solve advanced problems in the API security and Identity domain
You Have:
- 12+ years of experience building production AI/ML systems
- Experience in handling/building models on top of Big Data
- Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as regression, classification, clustering, k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, HMM, Sequence Models
- Experience with model evaluation techniques like cross-validation strategies, ROC, A/B Testing.
- Experience working with Realtime Time series data analysis
- Experience with model evaluation metrics like AUC, RMSE, log-loss, entropy and statistical concepts like P-value, T-test, F-test
- Knowledge of deep learning experience with any one of framework is preferable (TensorFlow/keras)
- Programming experience with Java or Python
- Experience with MongoDB/Cassandra/Kafka is a plus
- Demonstrable knowledge of running Agile Practice.
- A bachelor's or a master's degree in data science or a related field like computer science, mathematics, or statistics from premier institutes like IITs, IISc or NITs
