We are looking for a Java Software Developer with excellent engineering skills to join the PingIntelligence for APIs team.
This position is based in our Bangalore office. Elastic Beam, a fully owned subsidiary of Ping Identity.
As part of the PingIntelligence for APIs engineering team and reporting to a Product Development Manager, you will:
- Help build PingIntelligence for APIs an AI-based product for API Security
- Implement epics, user stories, and fix defects
- Work with product managers and other developers to implement product capabilities
- Create scalable solutions and services for cloud
- Debug, Troubleshoot issues, and provide fixes
- Participate in design and code reviews
- Work with team members while implementing features and fixing bugs
You have:
- 5+ years of software development experience in commercial, enterprise-level product environments
- Expert knowledge of Java
- Experience building microservices
- Experience with Spring Boot framework
- Understanding of Spring Security, and RESTful API development using Spring Web MVC
- Understanding of Spring Data JPA
- Hands-on knowledge of Linux OS(RHEL/Ubuntu), shell scripting and Git
- Experience building scalable cloud-based applications
- Good networking and security concepts using TCP and HTTP protocols, SSL and REST APIs
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with asynchronous messaging (Kafka)
- Experience of NoSQL databases like MongoDB,Cassandra, Elasticsearch
- Awareness/experience of Cloud Platforms AWS/Azure
- Knowledge of Dockerization and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of running Agile Practice
- Understanding of OAuth 2.0 and OIDC protocol
