We are looking for a senior software quality engineer / team lead to join our Admin Experience team. The Admin Experience team develops multiple software products, for improving the IAM experience with orchestration of on-premises and SaaS-based Ping solutions.
You Will:
- Be a solid individual contributor on a high-pace Agile scrum development team.
- Participate in requirements, design, test plan reviews, and code reviews
- Develop, maintain, and extend a Java-based automation test framework
- Develop automated test suites to validate API, backend and frontend components.
- Build test cases and test plans, and perform manual testing to find product issues in a SaaS environment.
- Lead and mentor other quality team members.
- Stay on the forefront of industry knowledge and share insights with team members
- Report to the Admin Experience Software Development Manager.
You Have:
- 3+ years of experience testing SaaS solutions
- 5+ years of experience testing public-facing RESTful APIs
- 5+ years of experience developing backend test automation using Java
- 5+ years of experience performing manual feature testing
- 3+ years of experience building UI test automation with Selenium, WebDriver, or Cypress
- 8+ years as a Software QA Engineer or Automation Developer.
- Experience working on high-output agile development teams
- Experience with tools in the Software Development Life Cycle including: source control (Git, GitLab) , build systems, issue tracking, and requirements management
- Experience with AWS, Docker and other cloud-based virtualization technology
You will have an advantage if:
- Fundamental knowledge in Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Familiarity with the following protocols: SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SCIM.
- Experience leading a quality engineering team.
- Experience with Selenium framework.
