You Will:

Ping Identity is looking for a Product Manager to guide the success of our Personal Identity suite of products incorporating essential distributed identity and identity verification technologies including digital wallets, blockchain ledgers, artificial intelligence (AI), orchestration, and important new identity standards.

 

You will contribute to and implement the product strategy by leading planning activities, creating detailed requirements, coordinating backlogs and have ownership over the roadmap. You will be a close partner with engineering and act as the voice of the customer and the business for engineering. You will have insight into all phases of the product development cycle. You will provide important leadership for engineering, design, architecture, marketing, and sales to manage the product offering and its deliverables. You will report to and collaborate with the Senior Product Manager for Personal Identity.

This includes:

  • With the Senior Product Manager, maintain a multi-quarter technical product roadmap that includes milestones and prioritized deliverables.
  • Influence and implement the product strategy for Personal Identity.
  • Support the development and streamlining of functional and business use cases working with customers and partners as Personal Identity adoption increases
  • Manage the detailed planning and delivery of features matched to market requirements.
  • Be the day-to-day representative of product management with engineering for Personal Identity.
  • Influence and lead holistic design solutions that address business, brand, and user requirements
  • Work with engineering, design, documentation and user acceptance testing teams to create a complete and polished product offering.
  • Work with UI developers to implement designs and validate features as they are built to ensure they follow market and customer needs.
  • Work with the Sales, Marketing, Client Services and Customer Success/Support to complete technical enablement on new deliverables.
  • Champion and communicate ideas, rationale and specifics with execs and with multiple teams.
  • Share knowledge and contribute ideas to enrich Ping culture across all product teams

You Have:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in developing, delivering, and managing personal identity applications, services, digital credentials, and development tools including for iOS and Android platforms.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in developing, delivering, and managing metrics, metadata and analytics capabilities to improve the product, support implementation teams, and achieve rich insight to the customer and end-user including for iOS and Android platforms.
  • Expertise in coordinating closely with UX/UI teams to achieve full-featured, rich user experience mobile applications and SDK plug-ins.
  • Expertise in personal identity and identity verification standards such as ISO, NIST, W3C DIF or Hyperledger INDY.
  • A history of contributing and curating innovation to achieve discriminating capabilities and features for personal identity.
  • A history of managing product development lifecycles to consistently achieve high-quality releases.
  • Comfort in discussing product capabilities and market relevance to end-users, partners, C-suite, engineers, analysts.
  • The ability to gather and prioritize market data to maintain a product roadmap.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thoughtful understanding of business processes and product development.
  • Demonstrated being a team player, comfortable with rapid iteration process and working within a fast-paced team
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or another relevant technical discipline, or equivalent 8+ years of experience.
