As a Senior Front-End Software Engineer you will work on a cross-functional engineering team developing the next generation of Ping's SaaS products. You will have opportunities to work on customer-facing web applications that integrate with our public REST APIs. Our team works on essential user-related features, and collaborates with other departments and development teams throughout the Agile development process. Come be part of something extraordinary!

You Will:

  • Build customer-facing web applications from wireframes using our shared React component library
  • Develop features and enhancements from user stories
  • Implement automated unit and integration tests
  • Participate in peer code reviews and work with Quality Assurance and other teams
  • Maintain status of assigned issues in Ping's issue tracker
  • Work with Product Management, Sustaining and Support on product requirements
  • Become a product expert in important areas to encourage higher quality development efforts
  • Report to a Development Manager in the R&D Organization

You Have:

  • 6+ years experience and strong proficiency with JavaScript
  • Experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks such as React
  • Experience integrating REST APIs with web applications
  • Experience debugging using browser development tools
  • Experience with software version control systems such as Git
  • Proficient in Unix-based environments
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
