MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
This job typically requires a Bachelors’ degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred, with a minimum of 5 to 10 years sales experience, preferably in a transportation environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the Bachelors’ degree.
Strong skills in computer software including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook email required.
Excellent communication, listening, and telephone skills are required in order to work effectively with all levels. Communications must be concise and accurate. Requires ability to solve customer and/or business problems and recommend solutions to customers’ transportation issues. Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required for this job. Must be able to work independently with limited supervision. Must be able to work in a team environment and produce results in conjunction with fellow team members. Strong customer service skills required.
