Job Description

Charleston ENT & Allergy is looking for an IT Specialist to join our growing team Our IT Specialists are valued members of the practice providing critical hands-on support for end-users at all levels of the organization. This includes everything from responding to service tickets, to answering calls and questions from our staff.

CENTA is growing, and with 16 offices  and 2 ambulatory surgery centers offices between Charleston, Dorchester, Columbia, and Beaufort counties, traveling to various sites and performing on the spot assessments and troubleshooting comes with the territory. Core duties include overseeing helpdesk tickets, hands-on hardware, software, and phone support; remote access support; HIPAA compliance; and working closely with various departments and cross-functional teams to ensure technological solutions effectively meet team goals. This includes partnering with various departments to ensure set-up of new systems and networks are compatible with team workflows and are structured to support the efficient execution of day to day duties.

As a member of CENTA’s IT staff, you’ll be a valued member of our business support team, working mostly behind the scenes with users at all levels of the organization to resolve technological (as well as the occasional “user error”). Because there is so much interaction with our staff, the successful candidate will genuinely enjoy working with people and will be comfortable communicating I.T. solutions to non-techies.
