The Product Operations Manager is responsible gathering business requirements from cross-functional stakeholders, guiding the vision of what needs to be built, and working with the engineering team to deliver that vision. You will help ensure product owners and their scrum teams are establishing acceptance criteria for stories and validate that they are met.  As a senior member of the Product Operations team you will lead and manage team members, and manage resourcing and reporting across the portfolio. As the Product Operations Manager you are responsible for delivering roadmap concepts and helping maintain the products across the portfolio.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as a leader in the product organization
  • Coach and manage a talented team with various levels of experience
  • Oversee delivery of product roadmap
  • Influence product strategy and vision
  • Bring structure and clarity to internal processes
  • Improve customer value
  • Act as an agile practitioner
  • Work closely with engineering to execute to roadmap
  • Prioritize tradeoffs, clarify requirements and work to drive user stories to acceptance throughout the agile development lifecycle
  • Guidance for the team across sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings and providing feedback to their processes
  • Ensure acceptance criteria are clearly defined and verify that story implementation matches requirements across scrum teams
  • Drive projects to completion
  • Enable internal teams to support product
  • Other duties as assigned 
Skills & Requirements

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of experience in product ownership / management with technical teams, or equivalent industry certifications/experience
  • Experience directly managing a team
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends
  • Ability to prioritize product capabilities/features based on vision, business goals, technology, schedules and budgets
  • Ability to influence without authority and champion change when needed
  • Detective-like problem solving skills – you thoroughly investigate the situation and then use that data to design the right solution
  • Ability to flex between the technical and business sides of your brain
  • Relentless commitment to prioritization
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work both independently and lead cross functional teams
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work with distributed teams, across timezones
  • Passion for customers and good user experience
