Location:     Melbourne or remotely within Australia

Job Summary

The Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Growth and Customer Success teams to execute marketing strategies, create content, manage events & campaigns, generate demand, track performance, and use data to enhance initiatives.

We are seeking an individual with excellent organisational skills, a strong understanding of marketing’s impact on revenue generation, and the ability to self-organise and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Granicus is a remote-first company (this isn’t temporary). While we have virtual teams, you have the option for in-office work should you be located near our Melbourne office.

What You’ll Do

·        Support the Global Marketing Team in executing the Marketing Plan

·        Play a key role in organising webinars, conferences (virtual and in-person), trade shows and other events, taking the lead on specific projects where required

·        Partner with cross-functional teams to create and edit content, write copy for ads, briefs, emails, presentations, press releases, marketing materials, and create other content

·        Contribute ideas and concepts for marketing programs designed to promote and grow the brand

·        Work effectively with internal and external stakeholders to progress impactful programs

·        Assist in building programs and messaging for different personas

·        Manage social media pages by posting updates and responding to comments and messages

·        Manage aspects of critical marketing systems (marketing automation, CRM) used to generate, distribute, and report on the marketing funnel and its impact on sales pipeline and bookings

·        Monitor projects and campaigns to optimise performance based on industry best practices

·        Produce, analyse and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact

Skills & Requirements

Who You Are

·        You have 2+ years in software marketing, government communications or high-touch sales

·        You possess a working understanding of Account-Based Marketing (ABM) best practices

·        You have experience working with key marketing systems, such as Salesforce and Zoom Webinars

·        You are a self-starter that requires minimal supervision and has the business acumen to prioritise projects and workload

·        You are an excellent communicator with great written skills – You know a good subject line from a great one

·        You have excellent organisation and project management skills and understand how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment

·        You possess the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment where functioning autonomously and collaborating as part of an international team are equally important

·        You understand that marketing is science and art – you are as happy using Excel as writing copy

·        You are passionate and experienced in working with public sector entities
