The Role

This role guides the development of existing products to ensure customer satisfaction while increasing profitability. It is responsible for evolving existing products to solve the needs of the Public Safety industry. This person is responsible for making sure our customers, internal and external have a positive experience with these products.

This role is a unique blend of business, technical savvy and big-picture-thinking where innovations are delivered by understanding the needs of the customers, evolving trends in the market and staying one-foot-ahead of the competition.

Job Duties

  • Directly coordinates the marketing of products/services including positioning, market segmentation strategies, launch plans, pricing strategies, distribution/sales channels
  • Leverages market and competitive data to prioritize the development of product features and building a product roadmap
  • Develops and implements a go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute
  • Prepares for and assists in product presentations for executive leadership and shareholders
  • Prepares for and assists in trade shows, demonstrations, and conferences
  • Assists in managing ongoing third-party relationships

 

Skills & Requirements

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Great communication skills, interpersonal, team building, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills
  • Some experience researching and understanding key technical concepts and high technology markets
  • Some experience defining and using analytics/metrics/KPIs
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodology
  • Knowledge of Project Management methodologies
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
  • Ability to self-manage and multi-task
