The Role
This Software Developer works as a member of the Enterprise Mobile development team responsible for developing and maintaining the Enterprise Mobile product line. They will manage all aspects of developing new features, including developing specs, coordinating with other developers, and designing databases.
Job Duties Include:
- Porting current code base to new architecture
- Maintain current Mobile application in current architecture
- Work with team to trouble shoot and diagnose Mobile issues
- Design, write, edit, modify, and debug new features for Mobile
- Prepare for, attend, and participate in all agile scrum meetings
- Communicate with and conduct software demonstrations for internal and external customers
- Research and present new ideas, technologies, and concepts to the team
- Use their excellent understanding of product framework and infrastructure to make recommendations for improvement
- Proactively select Product Backlog Items and commit to a timely delivery
- Engage in code reviews
- Recognize refactoring opportunities and technical debt issues to bring to the Product Owner
- Develop and maintain Automation test scripts
- Perform peer testing of functional changes
- Design and write unit tests
- Participate in creating coding standards, best practices documentation, and quality release notes
- Help team to define and adhere to processes around team agreements, schedule, and rules of engagement while holding them accountable to act on retrospective action items
- Become a source of technical knowledge (Subject Matter Expert) for other team members
