The Role
CentralSquare is a leading provider of managed services, specializing in delivering cutting-edge solutions for public safety organizations. We seek a skilled and experienced Consultant to join our Managed Services team to provide technical advisory and system administration services to Public Safety Enterprise Suite customers. This includes providing technical guidance, overseeing issue resolution, and assisting with lifecycle management and product upgrades. This is a remote position, but it is expected to travel to the customer site as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Manages and maintains Enterprise products and related databases to ensure highest performance.
- Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance
- Routine data management & maintenance (backup jobs, statistics management, replication, etc.)
- Rollout of firmware updates, security patches, as required
- Provide product support
- Advise on product upgrades and enhancements.
- Support the evaluation and testing of upgrades to ensure they meet the client’s performance requirements.
- Supports the disaster recovery framework:
- DR failover systems
- SQL Replication
- CAD Down procedures
- Backup facilities strategies
- Assists in mobile networking solutions and planning for the MDC mobile network.
- Ensures best practices are applied for CentralSquare Systems security from a networking and engineering perspective (within the center and mobility solutions).
- Participates in meetings as needed.
- Participates in the established ticketing system.
- Participates in the training for customer staff and self.
- Attends technical training offered by CentralSquare to maintain a current knowledge of CentralSquare’s applications.
- Adheres to and promotes CentralSquare core values, vision, ownership in action and honoring commitments.
