POSITION SUMMARY

The eCommerce & business strategy analyst is the liaison between our B2B eCommerce website, salesforce, business management team, executive committee and suppliers.  They will participate in designing, developing, and testing new features for our eCommerce website, supporting our customer's shopping on the site and the salesforce utilizing the site, and managing the content displayed on the site.  They will also assist the Vice President of Supplier Management and the Executive team on strategic projects such as supplier Requests for Proposal, new supplier considerations and other strategic projects throughout the year.  As the individual develops and for their own personal development, they may take on some additional responsibilities supporting a business manager in an analyst responsibility.  

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESULTS

• Participates in requirements-gathering and planning sessions to design the feature development roadmap for our B2B eCommerce system. 
• Acts as tier 2 customer support for Empire360 to resolve content display, log-in, and access issues for our customers and salesforce. 
• Develop website documentation to assist the salesforce and customer service teams. 
• Provide content updates when needed for all products across the website. 
• Partner with our IT and marketing teams to create a testing and roll-out plan for new website features.  
• Track site usage and revenue trends utilizing Google Analytics and revenue tracking to forecast growth and site improvements. 
• Coordinate and present eCommerce updates at our divisional GSMs with the GM eCommerce.  
• Coordinate and prepare supplier Requests for Proposal, various ad hoc projects for the Vice President of Supplier Management and the Executive Committee.  
• Completes all necessary training programs by attending, participating, and passing all required tests as defined by management (e.g. DIVER, SALES SKILLS, WSET...).
• Maintains market and sales understanding by conducting sales work-withs on a regular basis as prescribed by management.
• Maintains professional and industry knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
• Maintains customer and supplier confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.  
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

 Education, Certifications and/or licenses:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience required.
  • Ability to hold a Solicitor's Permit required (where applicable).
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle preferred
     

EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 2 years in sales/marketing or industry related experience is desired. 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

  • Sound understanding of wine and spirits is required. 
  • Results oriented professional with excellent verbal/written communication skills; uses diplomacy and discretion.  
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pays attention to detail and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various programs including presentation software. Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint capabilities required.
  • Budgeting, forecasting and accounting skills required.

    • Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000 plus annual bonus potential
