JOB DESCRIPTION

Core Responsibilities
• Annually revise and socialize the DCM data access management procedures that describes how DCM will meet the requirements of state and federal regulations and guidelines, in addition to Vertafore policies
• Act as a stakeholder and Subject Matter Expert on authorization, authentication, and data access tools in DCM products by participating in planning, grooming, and feature reviews
• Collaborate across the business to identify data security vulnerabilities and engage with Vertafore’s Corporate Compliance and Cybersecurity teams to implement mitigation and remediation strategies 
• Ensure alignment between policies, processes, and business capacity
• Monitor and enforce compliance with security policies and procedures
• Hire and manage team of 6+, hold 1:1s regularly, and ensure career growth and progression
 
Skills & Requirements • Bachelor's degree in information systems or a related field
• 3+ years of experience managing teams
• Worked in an agile software environment
• Actively participated in internal or SOC audit evidence collection
• Presented to large groups and executive audiences
• Experience in the insurance or securities market (Preferred) 
 

Additional Details: 
• Our offices are currently closed due to COVID-19 and are scheduled to re-open sometime in 2022. Employees are normally required to work from our office in East Lansing, Michigan office but due to COVID our employees are currently remote. This means having a stable internet connection is necessary to perform the job.
• Travel is not anticipated.
• Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
• Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements required to operate a computer
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (working on a computer, etc.)
• Frequent sitting and/or standing.
Qualifications .

The Professional Services (PS) and Customer Success (CX) bonus plans are a quarterly monetary bonus plan based upon individual and practice performance against specific business metrics.  Eligibility is determined by several factors including: start date, good standing in the company, and actives status at time of payout.

The Vertafore Incentive Plan (VIP) is an annual monetary bonus for eligible employees based on both individual and company performance.  Eligibility is determined by several factors including: start date, good standing in the company, and actives status at time of payout.

Commission plans are tailored to each sales role but common components include quota, MBO's and ABPMs.  Salespeople receive their formal compensation plan within 30 days of hire.
