JOB DESCRIPTION 

This position requires advanced insurance knowledge that ranges from personal to commercial content.  Understanding of publisher content to maintain product integrity and ensure production procedures.  ReferenceConnect knowledge is a plus. It also requires effective communication skills, the ability to resolve conflicts in a timely and appropriate manner, ability to handle confidential issues or material, and requires the ability to organize workloads to meet strict deadlines.  

 

Core Requirements and Responsibilities:  

 
  • Develop departmental goals, performance objectives and annual budget. 

  • Be able to take on new products. 

  • Make sure new and updated content is added to the library in a timely manner. 

  • Coordinate and ensure processing standards are followed and maintained. 

  • Maintain quality checks on all content going into the library prior to the build process. 

  • Restructure library content (TOCS) as necessary. 

  • Mentor production team managers when needed. 

  • Effectively and fairly communicate as an established leader. 

  • Respond to Support relative to user issues. 

  • Perform other duties as required.

Skills & Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Have an intense passion for technology and solutions design

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience. 

  • Have proven track record in leading architecture, design, development and operations of enterprise scale web delivery platforms, products and services in a high performance and high-availability SaaS environment 

  • Can interact with customers to gather insights and translate technical concepts 

  • Have an ability to influence across and at all levels of the organization 

  • Think strategically to help drive features and services for short and long-term growth 

  • Can create a fun, fast paced, motivating and rewarding environment for their teams and the organization 

  • Attract, build and retain a highly engaged and capable development teams that can deliver on our technology and business strategies 

  • Think End-to-End by connecting all the pieces of the business (development, product management, QA, operations, etc.) to deliver the features to delight the customer while leveraging all available assets 

  • Provide strong people management: attracting, retaining, inspiring and growing individuals; demonstrate a passion for people development and mobility 

 

Additional Requirements and Details:  

 
  • Travel required up to 10% of the time. 

  • Ability to work remote with a stable internet connection on an as needed basis. 

  • Located and working from an office location (when required)  

  • Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.  

  • Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements required to operate a computer.  

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision (working on a computer, etc.). 

  • Frequent sitting and/or standing.

Qualifications Vertafore is a Flexible First working environment which allows team members to work from home as often as you’d like, while using our offices as a place for collaboration, community, and teambuilding. There are times you may be asked to come into an office and/or travel for specific meetings for a specific business purpose and this varies by job responsibilities.

The Professional Services (PS) and Customer Success (CX) bonus plans are a quarterly monetary bonus plan based upon individual and practice performance against specific business metrics.  Eligibility is determined by several factors including: start date, good standing in the company, and actives status at time of payout.

The Vertafore Incentive Plan (VIP) is an annual monetary bonus for eligible employees based on both individual and company performance.  Eligibility is determined by several factors including: start date, good standing in the company, and actives status at time of payout.

Commission plans are tailored to each sales role but common components include quota, MBO's and ABPMs.  Salespeople receive their formal compensation plan within 30 days of hire.
