Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Business Development Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities within Fortune 500 global companies, specifically focusing on profit recovery and contract compliance services. You will play a crucial role in driving our growth by generating leads, nurturing relationships, and setting up meetings for our senior sales team.

SEEKING CANDIDATES WHO ARE CURRENTLY ON THE WEST COAST OF THE UNITED STATES.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and target key decision-makers within Fortune 500 global companies. Utilize various tools and strategies to generate leads for our profit recovery and contract compliance services.
  • Qualifying Opportunities: Engage with prospects to understand their needs, pain points, and challenges related to profit recovery and contract compliance. Qualify opportunities based on their potential value and alignment with our service offerings.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients through consistent follow-up, personalized outreach, and value-driven conversations.
  • Collaboration with Sales Team: Work closely with senior sales representatives and account executives to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads and to develop strategies for penetrating key accounts.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and the specific needs of target companies in the profit recovery and contract compliance space.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting activities, interactions, and opportunities in the CRM system.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in outbound sales or business development, preferably within the profit recovery, contract compliance, or financial services industries.
  • Experience prospecting into Fortune 500 companies.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Sales Engagement Platforms such as Groove/Gong/Outreach, etc.
  • A proactive, self-motivated, and goal-oriented mindset with a “hunter” mentality to seek out new business.
  • A coachable, curious mindset with a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Exceptional phone, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Proven success in high-activity sales development, business development, or inside sales for B2B SaaS solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales goals.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent sales experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of contract compliance and profit recovery processes.
    • Previous experience in a consulting or professional services environment is a plus.
