National Warrior Workforce is working with colleges in all 50 states to host an 8-week training program. Retired/Separated Service Members will be eligible to use GI Bill benefits as desired. Service Members in the retirement/separation process will be assisted in applying as a Skillbridge program IAW DoD TAP. Currently serving Guard/Reserve Service Members may also be eligible to use tuition assistance and/or GI Bill benefits as well.
Training will include OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 level courses, Red Cross CPR/AED certifications, Drone familiarization, and more.
60 day on-the-job learning (OJL) will also be provided. Training will include fiber splicing, drop and bury, direction bore drill, and residential fiber installation.
Upon completion, participants will be provided employment opportunities based on skill and experience.
Pathways to Success
● Prepares you for field leadership, foreman, and construction management opportunities.
● You’ll be part of a 3-4 person team working on Warrior Workforce projects and/or with our partner companies
● Job Safety and Continuous Learning and Development in Field Leadership are emphasized through your experience.
● Trains you for skilled labor positions in civil work, heavy machinery, wiring and fiber terminations, site development, and technical installations.
Sample Salary Ranges and Career Pathing for National Infrastructure Technician Career (an average career timeframe from entry-level start date):
● Technician I/II: $18-$20 per hour (0-12months)
● Team Lead: $20-$22 (12-18 months)
● Foreman/Supervisor: $23-$28 per hour (2+ years)
● Construction Manager: $65K-$85K plus bonus (5+years)
● Program Manager or Operations Director: $80K-$120K plus bonus (7+ years)
