Job Description

Position Summary:

As part of our Information Systems team, you will work with multiple business operations teams to plan, design, develop and implement various SQL, inter-platform, and data solutions.  This position contributes to cloud, on-prem and 3rd-party environments by providing solutions through architecture and data modeling. You will also develop and maintain strong relationships with our business teams and be a key Information Systems communication channel to these departments who will partner with them to help them achieve their strategic departmental objectives.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other IT-related field preferred (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in a variety of environments, platforms, and products:
  • SQL Server 2017+
  • Python, Informatica, .NET, Java, etc
  • Azure, AWS database administration
  • SSRS, SSIS and SSAS
  • Monitoring and database optimization
  • ODBC connections
  • 3rd party products and solutions:
    • CrunchTime
    • Point-of-Sale systems (Aloha, Toast, Micros, etc.)
    • PowerBI, Excel, Crystal Reports, Tableau, PowerShell Scripting
    • Microsoft Business Office Suite applications
    • UKG UltiPro
    • FreshService Help Desk

  • Provides technical expertise to ensure that network facilities and systems are sufficient, appropriate, and functioning.
  • Collaborates with other technical staff to resolve problems with software / infrastructure systems, detail understanding of monitoring, security & DR.
  • Plans and leads IT projects and provides guidance to IT groups across the organization on technologies, methods, and issues.
  • Works with Enterprise Architectural leadership to develop proof of concepts, feasibility analysis and technical research.
  • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the infrastructure.
  • Interact with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
  • Provide timely resolution of trouble and incident requests.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties:

  • Manage and monitor Microsoft 365 services and hybrid infrastructure.
  • Support of Microsoft 365 mobile applications.
  • Document changes to the systems using change management best practices
  • Assist with the migration of large volumes of data into the cloud platform
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with user access to cloud services.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Work Hours:

  • Generally, 8am-5pm (Mon-Fri), other hours as needed for work completion and general support.

 

Physical Environment:

  • Hybrid, flexible work environment involving in office as needed, and remote.

 

Activity:

  • Sitting for long periods of time; Ability to Lift/Carry up to 25 lbs.

 

Travel Frequency:

  • Minimal (less than 10%)
