We are seeking a Patient Services Manager at the VA Outpatient Clinic located at 5201 Raymond Street, Orlando, FL 32803. If you are passionate about serving our Veterans and their families and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Direct Patient Feeding for the VA Medical Center to include menu planning, coordinating special dietary requirements, special catering and other food production services
  • Develop and maintain client and customer relationships
  • Ensure safe food quality, safe food handling, and product availability
  • Inventory control, labor cost, and budget management
  • Ensure day-to-day compliance to JCAHO, VA, VCS and HACCP guidelines relative to food production operations
  • Supervise assigned personnel rendering guidance, oversight and training
  • Reports to General Manager

Skills & Requirements Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must currently be a Registered Dietitian and be able to provide documentation. 
  • Minimum 1-year prior experience in patient feeding in an in-patient setting
  • Hands-on leadership with a strong focus on service and hospitality
  • Proficient computer skills using Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • ServSafe certification required or obtained within 90 days of hire date
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and some nights.

 

Participation in the seasonal influenza and Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Vaccination programs are requirements for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP). Participation in the seasonal influenza program is a condition of employment. It is a requirement that all HCP receive the COVID-19 vaccination and annual seasonal influenza vaccination or obtain an exemption for medical or religious reasons.
