TITLE: Specialist - Foreclosure CLASSIFICATION: FT / Regular / Hourly / Non-Exempt
DEPARTMENT: Foreclosure LOCATION: Franklin, TN
WORK LOCATION and HOURS: FRANKLIN, TN, Monday – Friday, 8: 00 AM to 5:00 PM
Due to the nature and responsibilities of this position it is imperative that the individual in this position be available to work during the firm’s office hours. The individual schedule will be determined by the department manager based on business needs. Reliability is critical.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
Accurate and timely entry of data in the firm’s case management system; Correspond with debtors and firm clients through telephone and written communication; Respond to client inquiries and provide information to clients regarding non-judicial foreclosure, and eviction matters; Access client websites to request documents, upload documents and update the client’s website with accurate information regarding foreclosure, and eviction matters.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITY:
Serve as a backup to other team members in the non-judicial foreclosure and eviction processes; Assist with special projects as they become available.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Ensure all required information is properly entered into the firm’s case management system and client websites in a timely and efficient manner.
2. Provide timely and accurate responses to client inquiries.
3. Provides recommendation to client regarding the non-judicial foreclosure process relating to proper notice, Federal Fair Debt guidelines, investor regulations, and loan chronologies for clients to respond to investor timeline issues.
4. Management of GSE portfolio and system updates as required by FNMA/FHLMC.
5. Draft legal documents used in the non-judicial foreclosure process and ensure accuracy of the information contained in the legal document.
6. Prepare foreclosure sale bids based on the client’s financial data provided in the bidding instructions.
7. Report sales results to the client in a timely manner.
8. Process funds received from the sales auctioneer and forward the funds to the client in a timely manner.
9. Identify and request from the client any missing documents and/or data needed for the foreclosure, and eviction processes.
10. Follow-up timely on previous missing document or data requests that are needed for the foreclosure, and eviction processes.
11. Answer client inquiries via telephone or email and respond in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
12. Performs all other duties as requested.
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Ability to accurately enter data and draft documents in a high-volume environment.
· Must be PC literate and able to adapt to a variety of data base systems.
· Must exhibit professional communication skills (verbal and written).
PREFERRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
· Experience in the mortgage banking industry, preferably in the area of default.
· Experience with CaseAware, Black Knight LPS, Vendorscape, Clarifire, and Tempo.
