JESS is a well-established, high performing ‘not for profit’ school.  We are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Music educator for our Primary School at Jumeirah from 27th May 2018 through to 13th December 2018. 

The successful applicant should:

• demonstrate a passion for and a clear understanding of quality learning and teaching in music
• preferably have experience teaching Foundation Stage – Year 6
• be an accomplished musician - piano and/or orchestral instrument desirable
• have experience of leading ensembles or instrumental clubs and choirs
• be a highly motivated, exemplary practitioner with a strong work ethic
• have a sound knowledge of the Music curriculum and planning and assessment practices
• have knowledge of the use of ICT to enhance the music curriculum
• be a collegiate, dynamic teacher with high expectations for all
• be a passionate and inspirational educator who complements an outstanding team dedicated to the delivery of a high quality music programme which has an impact on student outcomes 
• contribute positively to all aspects of school life including performance which is central to our extensive extra-curricular programme in this area.  
• Maintain the positive ethos and core values of the school both inside and outside the classroom
